Jeffrey Chernick is a serial entrepreneur whose creative disposition is expressed in all of his companies. He co-founded RideAmigos in 2007, the first taxi-sharing website of its kind, which has become a global leader in commuter management software. RideAmigos has been featured on FOX, NBC, ABC, NY1, New York Post, Newsday, and the LA Times, and is utilized by companies such as Google, Sonos, and Hulu to name a few. He, also, is a co-founder of Vyng, an Android app that brings entertainment to the lockscreen by replacing the generic callerID image with customized video and audio on incoming calls.
One of the guiding principals that is a staple in Chernick’s life is “giving back.” He volunteers with NFTE, a non-profit that pairs entrepreneurs with students to provide mentorship and foster an excitement for creating something from nothing. He is active in raising funds for various non-profits and is a gifted musician. Chernick drums in a band called Story of the Running Wolf and DJs events all over the world.
As a graduate from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, he gained a love for building companies from the ground up. After four years working for Lehman Brothers, that desire to create something that was his, paved the way for his ultimate leaving of the world of finance to pursue entrepreneurship. His commitment to innovation and pushing his companies to the cutting edge of not only what is possible in the tech space, but what is fun, guides him to the successes he’s enjoyed thus far.

He personally opened two dozen accounts ranging from $5mm-$200mm, and in turn developed and implemented portfolio strategies that complied with each company’s Investment Policy. Jeffrey most notably secured the funding of a $3 Billion assignment from Cablevision Inc.
Soren Eilertsen brings senior professional management expertise to RideAmigos. He thrives at helping businesses overcome obstacles and grow. Soren brings a unique perspective to leadership, innovation and transformation with his background in business strategy, human psychology, and organizational development. Over the past 30 years, Soren has held numerous top executive roles in general management, technology, and strategy.
Soren provides a distinctive voice in the boardroom and at the leadership table as catalyst, coach and advisor. Educated as a psychologist and with an extensive background in business and technology leadership roles, Soren understands success dynamics as manifested in leadership teams, employee culture, and consumer behavior in the market place. Basically, anything to do with people and the psychology underlying engagement, collaboration and decision-making!
Specialties include vision and strategy formulation (including Blue Ocean Strategy and market positioning), leadership development (team building and executive coaching), business innovation and transformation, operations and performance excellence (Baldrige Examiner), and corporate governance.
Most recently, Soren helped grow lynda.com over six years into a global learning platform with over $150M in revenues, 500 employees and offices in four countries. Company was sold to LinkedIn in May 2015 for $1.5B. In his role as President of Kollner Group, Inc., other current clients span entertainment, technology, internet and financial services as well as non-for- profit. He also serves as Adjunct Professor of Business Strategy at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management’s MBA and EMBA programs.

Evan is a systems guru, and loves taking complex routines and automating them. As an original founder, Evan has developed, managed, and implemented projects from out of the box solutions, to custom, technical scopes of work with thousands of lines of use-case requirements. Projects range from large cities like Los Angeles and Toronto, to international provinces like Johor Malaysia, and large organizations and universities like Google and MIT. Studying the millions of commute records the RideAmigos platform has captured, Evan has attained a unique knowledge and footing about the ins, outs, and betweens of traffic flow, and building a true hub for transportation programs and data. This understanding is incorporated into RideAmigos in order to create value for the many active audience types the platform works for.
Evan also founded the non-profit Beautify Earth, an organization dedicated to ending urban decay by allowing for every public bland or neglected wall to become an opportunity for an artist’s expression, and actively works with the City of Santa Monica to develop new and innovate approaches to civic engagement, partnership, and activism, and is the President of his Neighborhood Association

Ben is a seasoned technologist who previously worked with WisdomTools Inc. managing the implementation of unique e-learning solutions deployed within many large organizations, including several Fortune 500 companies. During his three years working with upper-management to integrate learning into the culture of these organizations, Ben developed a passion for finding new ways to utilize technology to promote cultural change, and left WisdomTools to pursue this interest, joining a social-networking start-up to add new and unique opportunities for the company’s 9 million users to interact with each other and with the marketing messages for such brands as BMW, Mini Cooper, Häagen-Dazs, Intel, IBM, and Dell.
In January of 2009, Ben’s experience in software engineering and user experience led him to join RideAmigos. He is now working as Chief Technology Officer, utilizing his full skill set to ensure that RideAmigos follows a user- centric approach towards development while providing for maximum usability, scalability, and flexibility. Ben Dalton has managed the development of ride sharing, travel analytics, and social networking systems and APIs to facilitate ridesharing across the United States. RideAmigos.com provides dynamic ridesharing functionality and exposes numerous APIs for partner integrations allowing ridesharing for over 7,000 events. Ben also developed systems for analyzing historical corporate travel data to measure utilization patterns and identify opportunities for improving efficiency and controlling employee travel expenses. In previous positions, Ben worked with state and county governments to provide more efficient access of geo-centric data on several projects.
